The Moon Experience places particular importance on confidentiality and the protection of personal data. This policy explains how personal information supplied in connection with our activities is collected, used and protected in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French law.

2. Information we may collect

When you contact us via a form, email, phone or WhatsApp, we may collect:

• Your first and last name.
• Your company or establishment name, where applicable.
• Your city or country.
• Your email address and telephone number.
• Details needed for a quotation: requested service, preferred date, number of guests, quantity of eclipse glasses or personalisation requirements.
• Any message or other information you choose to provide.

We may also process technical information necessary for website operation, abuse prevention and security. Souvenir photographs may be taken during astronomy events and shared with the people concerned under agreed arrangements.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Responding to requests: answering questions, preparing quotations and discussing requested services, based on pre-contractual steps requested by you or MOBIKAP's legitimate interest in replying to professional enquiries.

Fulfilling services and orders: organising astronomy events, processing orders and managing customer relationships, based on the performance of a contract.

Meeting legal obligations: invoicing, bookkeeping and retaining legally required records, based on legal obligations.

Website security: preventing abuse, fraud and technical incidents, based on MOBIKAP's legitimate interests.

Any subsequent marketing communications comply with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

4. Required and optional data

Fields marked as required in the contact form are necessary to process your request. Without them, we may not be able to reply or provide a quotation. Other fields are optional. Please do not send sensitive information or information unrelated to your enquiry.

5. Recipients

Only authorised MOBIKAP personnel who need the information to handle your request, service or order may access it. Technical providers responsible for hosting, email or communications may also process data to the extent necessary for their services. Personal data is not sold to third parties.

6. Retention periods

Data is retained only as long as needed for its intended purpose. Our stated retention policy is:

• Enquiries and quotations that do not proceed: generally 12 months after the last exchange, unless longer retention is justified.
• Permitted marketing: prospect data may be retained for up to three years following the last contact initiated by the prospect, subject to applicable rules and opt-out rights.
• Contractual relationships: throughout the business relationship, followed by the archiving needed for legal obligations or potential legal claims.
• Accounting and invoices: legally required periods, including ten years for relevant accounting documents.
• Technical security data: limited to operational, diagnostic and abuse-prevention needs.

Data no longer needed is erased or anonymised unless a legal obligation requires retention.

7. WhatsApp communications

If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, your exchanges use a third-party service governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy. You can always contact us by email instead.

8. International transfers

Some communications providers or other third-party services may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where MOBIKAP is responsible for such transfers, they must be subject to appropriate GDPR safeguards. You may contact us for further details of relevant providers and safeguards.

9. Cookies and local storage

The website may use technical mechanisms required for its operation, including remembering language preferences and certain display or playback choices. These are not intended for advertising tracking. If analytics, advertising or other trackers subject to consent are introduced, specific information and an appropriate consent mechanism will be provided before activation.

Local storage currently used. Your browser remembers the selected language and certain music playback preferences (playback setting and position). This is used only to maintain the requested features, not for targeted advertising. To maintain the original design, the website currently loads DM Sans, Manrope and Playfair Display through Google Fonts. This connection may transmit technical data to Google, including your IP address. Hosting these fonts locally on our own server is planned.

Cookies and third-party services. The delivered website code does not include advertising trackers or analytics tools. Cookies or logs potentially generated by hosting and technical services must still be checked after deployment. Consent controls will be implemented before any trackers requiring consent are activated.

10. Photographs and image rights

Souvenir photographs may be taken at astronomy events and shared with the participants concerned. Public, advertising or promotional use of identifiable persons' images is subject to the authorisations required by applicable law. 11. Data security

MOBIKAP implements appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration and disclosure. No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be entirely secure.

12. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your data; to object, including to direct marketing; to data portability where legally applicable; and to withdraw consent where it is the legal basis, without affecting prior lawful processing.

13. Updates

This policy may be updated as the website, services or regulations evolve. The version in effect is the one published on the website when you visit it.
